ESTATE AND PROBATE

Some families take weeks to call. Others call the day after a death.

Planning clients read and compare for a while before they reach out. Probate callers have just lost someone and need a calm next step. LegalCRM.pro handles both in English or Spanish, gathers the family details your attorney needs, and books the consult.

THE FAILURE

Two kinds of callers, and both slip away

A planning client may look at your firm three times before they write in. If the first reply is slow or cold, they go back to comparing. The interest was real, but no one followed up.

A probate call is the other way around. A grieving son or daughter does not want a long form. They need someone to take a few facts kindly and tell them what comes next.

WHAT CALLERS ASK

What estate and probate callers ask, and what LegalCRM does

Wills

“How much does a will cost?”

Asks about marital status, children, and whether a will already exists, including one signed in another state or country. Then it books the planning consult. Fees are for the firm to discuss.

Trusts

“Do I need a trust or just a will?”

Notes the kinds of assets, such as a home, bank accounts, or property abroad, without asking for amounts. The attorney decides what fits.

The family home

“Who gets my house when I die?”

Notes whether the caller owns a Florida home and who lives there, since homestead rules can shape the plan, and flags it for the attorney.

Probate

“My father passed away. How do I start probate?”

Uses gentle wording your attorney approved. It takes only the date of death, the county, and whether there is a will, then sends your new-estate checklist by text or email.

Guardianship

“How can I become my mother's guardian?”

Asks who needs help, how the caller is related, and whether any powers of attorney exist. A safety concern is marked urgent.

Will and trust disputes

“Can I contest my aunt's will?”

Asks for the names of the other family members first, so your team can run a conflict check before the consult. Then it takes the basics and books it.

ATTORNEY FIRST

Calls that go to an attorney first

A need for emergency guardianship, an older or vulnerable adult at risk, or money or property being moved or spent after a death is marked urgent. On the Practice and Group plans, the AI voice agent escalates these calls to the human path the firm defines, such as the attorney on call, and tells the caller when to expect a call back. Those rules are configured and tested before the agent takes a live call.

No planning advice

Nothing the system sends picks a will over a trust or tells a family what to do. That is the attorney's call, and Florida Bar Rule 4-7.13 does not allow predicting results.

Names before details

Estate matters often involve several relatives. Intake asks for names first, so your team can run the conflict check before the consult, and keeps the first call short.

No account numbers

Intake asks only what kinds of assets there are. It never asks for account numbers, balances, or passwords. Those come later, through a secure channel your firm controls.

Deadlines flagged, not judged

Probate has deadlines, such as the period for creditor claims after notice is published (Fla. Stat. § 733.702). Intake records the date of death and flags it for attorney review. It never tells a caller how much time is left.

BILINGUAL BY DEFAULT

In the language they wrote in

In many South Florida families, the parents would rather plan in Spanish and the children handle things in English. Many also have heirs, homes, or accounts in Latin America. LegalCRM.pro sends the intake form, texts, emails, and reminders in the language each person picked, and the intake can note family or property outside the country so the attorney can plan the consult.

COMPLIANCE

Not a law firm, and never legal advice

LegalCRM.pro is an intake and follow-up system, not a law firm. It does not give legal advice, and the attorney-client relationship stays with your firm.

On Practice and Group, Aday Interactive writes every message in both languages to fit the Florida Bar's advertising rules (Chapter 4-7) and the ABA Model Rules, and your attorney approves each one before anything sends. The messages answer people who contacted your firm first. They are not a tool for reaching out to strangers.

Rather have it set up and run for you? Aday Interactive does that for firms in this practice.

FAQ

Questions we get on this call

No. Whether a trust, a will, or both makes sense depends on facts only an attorney can weigh. Intake gathers the family and asset picture in general terms and books the consult where the attorney answers that.
